CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
What exactly is CSR? CSR is the abbreviation for Corporate Social Responsibility. CSR is about a company voluntarily taking responsibility for sustainable action and social responsibility above and beyond the legal requirements. You can find more information on the topics of "fair production" and "sustainability", which also fall under CSR, on our other overview pages.
All of us at IRIEDAILY are against violence, discrimination and all forms of racism. Fairness, tolerance, equality and flying the flag are the basic prerequisites for conscious coexistence!
IRIEDAILY FRIENDLY SUPPORTS
As a Kreuzberg-based company, we see it as our responsibility to actively participate in local projects as well as supporting national anti-racist projects and offering apprenticeships. We regularly support many great projects in the form of donations of money or clothing.
FSV HANSA 07 E.V.
The Freie SportVereinigung Hansa 07 is deeply rooted in the Wrangelkiez and has been in contact with IRIEDAILY for many years through the Kreuzberg connection. We have already created several joint jerseys and implemented projects. Internationality, openness and integration - that's what Hansa stands for. Among other things, the club provides space for CHAMPIONS ohne GRENZEN, the intercultural soccer project for refugees. The IRIEDAILY x Hansa jerseys speak out clearly against racism and discrimination. We are also happy to support Hansa 07 with merchandise and equipment for the volunteers! #catenaccioagainstracism
TROPICAL FOREST FOUNDATION OROVERDE
We have been supporting the Tropical Forest Foundation OroVerde with support campaigns such as our annual Green Weekend to promote specific projects to protect the rainforests. In this way, we not only support reforestation by planting new trees, but also long-term conservation projects and training for local people.
PFEFFERSPORT E.V.
Also for the Berlin association Pfeffersport e.V. we designed a special jersey, which we initially presented to all trainers in February 2023. Pfeffersport not only impresses with its wide range of sports, but above all with its strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and integration. A great club that we are happy to support! #MissionInclusion
OTHER PROJECTS
For many years, we have regularly supported the Skateistan initiative, which builds skateboarding infrastructure around the world with a focus on vulnerable, BIPOC and migrant communities, and since the beginning of 2020, we have also sponsored two fruit trees at Hof Grüneberg in Brandenburg. By supporting the "Strong as a tree" project of the Grüneberg Farm Foundation and the Caritas children's hospice service, we are not only supporting an important nature conservation project, but also helping families with a seriously ill child or young person, as well as regularly supporting the Brandenburg association "Opferperspektive - Solidarisch gegen Rassismus, Diskriminierung und rechte Gewalt e.V." with financial donations.
We were also able to support another new project with clothing donations: Project Wings. These young pioneers and idealists want to make the topic of environmental protection socially acceptable. Each of their projects is designed to leave behind self-sustaining systems that are run by locals. One of their current projects is to build the world's largest recycling village from 250 tons of plastic waste in Sumatra.
Some donation projects are smaller and more discreet. For example, we send clothing donations directly to the Berlin City Mission, to an aid organization for Nepalese schoolchildren or support a private project by Berlin photographer Daniel Reiter, who supports young skaters in Addis Abada, Ethiopia, with textiles and skateboard hardware.
