SOCISILVAS CONFECÇÕES-IMPORTAÇÃO E EXPORTAÇÃO, LDA

We started producing our textiles in Portugal and almost half of our total production volume is still located there. We have been working with the producer SOCISILVAS CONFECÇÕES-IMPORTAÇÃO E EXPORTAÇÃO, which supplies us with T-shirts and sweatshirts, since 1996. It is a small, very well-organized company that specializes in simple T-shirts and sweatshirt products and now produces exclusively for IRIEDAILY. The main tasks of the Portuguese factory in Maia are the production steps "cutting & packing". The suppliers DESEJO ORIGINAL, ESTAMPARIA JORSAN and PEREIRA & FILHOS support Socisilvas in the sewing, printing and embroidery processes.

FACTORY VISIT 2021

Our CSR team regularly visits our production sites to check working conditions on site and intervene in the event of problems. These factory visits are also an important part of our membership of the Fair Wear Foundation. In summer 2021, the visits were accompanied by a camera in order to provide transparent insights into our production.

In the following video, you will get an exclusive insight into the Socisilvas factory and Socisilvas founder Fernando also reveals why he decided back then to produce exclusively for IRIEDAILY. Long-term and continuous partnerships with our producers are part of our corporate philosophy. That is why we are very grateful and proud to have been able to work with Socisilvas and people like Fernando for 25 years.

DESEJO ORIGINAL (SEWING)

Some production steps are outsourced by Socisilvas. The supplier Desejo Original is responsible for the sewing process.

ESTAMPARIA JORSAN (PRINT SHOP)

Another supplier that Socisilvas works with is Estamparia Jorsan. The supplier handles the printing process and applies logos and artwork to the IRIEDAILY styles.
